Watch+ Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 26 October 2026 · Last updated: 26 October 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to the optional Watch+ subscription offered by STITCHBYTE LLP (“Stitchbyte,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through Watch at https://watch.stitchbyte.in and any supported app or purchase channel.
Watch Free is available without a subscription fee. This policy concerns paid Watch+ subscriptions and does not limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel your Watch+ subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, refund a payment already made.
If you subscribed through our website
You can cancel through the Membership section of your Watch profile, where that option is available. You do not need to contact support to cancel.
After cancellation:
- Your Watch+ benefits generally remain available until the end of the current paid billing period, unless your subscription terms, a refund, a payment reversal, or applicable law require otherwise.
- You will not be charged for a subsequent renewal under the cancelled subscription.
- At the end of the paid period, your account will return to Watch Free unless you start another subscription.
- Your plans, friends, and messages will remain subject to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and applicable retention rules.
Subscription restart or resubscription options depend on the payment provider and the status of your subscription. A cancelled subscription may require you to purchase a new subscription.
If you subscribed through Google Play
Manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play using the Google Account with which you subscribed. Uninstalling Watch does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
Google Play purchases and refund requests are subject to Google Play’s applicable billing and refund processes. Cancelling through Google Play does not automatically mean that you will receive a refund.
2. Refunds
We assess refund requests fairly, taking into account the circumstances of the purchase, the service provided, applicable payment-provider rules, and applicable law.
A refund may be considered in circumstances such as:
- You were charged more than once for the same subscription period.
- A payment was taken in error or without proper authorisation.
- You paid successfully but Watch+ was not activated.
- A material technical issue prevented you from accessing a paid Watch+ feature for a significant period, and we could not reasonably resolve the issue.
- You were charged an incorrect amount or were provided a materially different subscription from the one purchased.
- A refund is required under applicable consumer law or the rules of the payment channel used.
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after noticing the issue. We recommend submitting a request within 7 days of the relevant charge, where practicable, so that we can investigate promptly. This is a request for timely reporting, not a deadline that removes any non-waivable statutory right or remedy.
To help us investigate, provide the email address associated with your Watch account, the transaction date, the amount and currency, the payment method or provider, and the transaction or order reference if available. Please do not send full card numbers, passwords, UPI PINs, or other sensitive payment credentials.
Refunds are assessed individually. We may request reasonable information needed to verify a transaction or investigate the reported issue. Where a refund is approved, we will explain whether it is full or partial and whether the subscription or access to refunded benefits will be affected.
3. Cancellation is not the same as a refund
Unless applicable law or the payment channel requires otherwise, cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund the unused portion of a billing period. You will generally retain access to Watch+ until the end of the period already paid for.
If you believe you qualify for a refund, submit a separate refund request. A refund also does not necessarily cancel future renewals. Please cancel the subscription separately unless the refund confirmation expressly states that the subscription has also been cancelled.
The treatment of a subscription after a refund depends on the payment channel and whether the refund is full or partial. We will not promise continued access where the relevant provider or refund process removes the subscription entitlement.
4. Payment-channel-specific refunds
Website purchases
For subscriptions purchased through our website using Razorpay, Stripe, or another supported payment provider, contact us at info@stitchbyte.in with the relevant transaction details. We will review the request and, where approved, process the refund through the applicable provider or payment route.
The payment provider’s processing rules, the original payment method, and the user’s bank or payment service may affect when the funds appear in the account.
Google Play purchases
For subscriptions purchased through Google Play, you may submit a refund request through Google Play’s refund process or contact us if you need help with a purchase or an issue with Watch+.
Google Play determines requests that fall within its own refund process. Where developer action is available or appropriate, we will assist or process a refund in accordance with the applicable Google Play requirements, our policy, and applicable law.
A Google Play refund may affect your Watch+ entitlement. The outcome and timing depend on the transaction and the applicable refund process.
5. Refund processing times
If we approve a refund, we will initiate it through the relevant payment channel as soon as reasonably practicable. The time taken for the funds to reach you depends on the payment provider, payment method, bank, and any required checks.
Any estimated processing time we provide is an estimate, not a guarantee. If the refund has not appeared within the timeframe communicated by the provider, contact us with the refund or transaction reference so we can help investigate.
6. Failed renewals and payment problems
If a subscription renewal fails, we or the payment provider may attempt to collect the payment again where permitted by the provider’s rules and your payment authorisation. We may provide a reasonable grace period while the payment issue is resolved.
If payment remains unsuccessful, Watch+ benefits may be suspended or your account may revert to Watch Free. We will handle any retries, notices, suspension, and subscription-status changes in accordance with the subscription terms, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorised, contact us promptly so we can investigate. You may also contact your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or Google Play as appropriate. Nothing in this policy requires you to delay or give up a legitimate payment dispute, fraud report, or other right available to you.
7. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or waives a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
For consumers in India, this includes applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as amended or applicable from time to time, and other relevant law. Consumer protection laws in your country or region may also provide additional rights, including remedies for unauthorised charges, non-delivery, or a service that does not conform to its description.
If this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory requirement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
8. Receipts and invoices
Payment confirmations, receipts, and any applicable tax invoices may be provided by the relevant payment provider or through Watch, depending on the purchase channel and transaction.
You may also be able to view recent payments in the Membership section of your Watch profile. Availability and invoice format may vary by provider and purchase channel. If you need help locating a receipt or invoice, contact us using the details below.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our subscription features, payment providers, operational practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version with a revised effective or last-updated date and provide any notice required by applicable law.
The version applicable to a purchase will be interpreted subject to any mandatory consumer protections and any specific terms presented to you at the time of purchase.
